what is HIIT X Heidi?
HIIT X Heidi is a comprehensive, 8 week workout program designed to help you become a stronger, healthier, happier version of yourself. The workouts are a mix of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and strength training. The workouts are structured to mobilize fat cells through plyometric and cardio-based movements, while also lifting weights to achieve muscular hypertrophy, aka muscle and tone. Each week I share five workouts focusing on different muscle groups for each workout, plus a bonus ab routine each week that can be added to your daily workouts. The workouts can be scaled for any fitness level, can be done in 40 minutes or less and are designed for you to exert all of your effort. In addition to the workouts, you’ll have access to weekly devotionals to set your intentions for each week before starting your workouts. The most important aspect of this program is the heart change you’ll experience on your journey to self-love and acceptance. That is what will bring you life-lasting change. You’ll be joining other women who are on the same journey and will have access to the Team HXH online community to keep you encouraged and motivated. The cost of the program is $50.

If you are working out in a gym, most of the equipment you need will be available to you. If not, here’s your at-home equipment recommendations:
Variety of dumbbells (I recommend having at least two sets— one heavier, one lighter— to start.)
Exercise bands and/or hip circle bands
Kettlebell (optional; one single dumbbell can be use as a substitute)
Medicine ball (optional, but recommended)
Step (optional; you can use an elevated, sturdy surface at home like your stairs)
Hi! I’m Heidi.
I’m a certified personal trainer, and before I share the ins and outs of this program, I want to share a little of my story with you. I set out to create HIIT X Heidi because I was tired of all of the workout classes I was trying (trust me- I’ve tried a TON) and couldn’t find one that gave me results that I loved. While I loved the community experience the classes provided, I either hit a plateau or built a body that I didn’t feel good about. The workouts weren’t geared toward women who wanted to build up certain areas (hello, little peach!), but maintain lean muscle and tone in others (hello, lean legs and toned arms!).
As a result, HIIT X Heidi was born, but it quickly morphed into something more. As soon as I decided that I wanted to share my workout program with the world, I realized there was an important part of my journey that I wanted to share with you— the journey to self-love and acceptance and seeing yourself the way Christ sees you.
I want to help you to transform your body and get results through this program. That’s a given. But even more importantly, I want you to experience the heart transformation that I experienced on my journey. I learned the hard way how much your self-perceived worth plays into your health and fitness, and ultimately your results.
That’s why I’ve incorporated devotionals with this program. There has to be a deeper reason for pursuing a healthy lifestyle than washboard abs. On days where you don’t feel motivated, having a deeper “why” will get you there.
